RedaVision Photo &  Design

Hello. I'm Mike Reda, and thank you for visiting my website. Since 1993, I have provided photography, design, retouching, and copy writing/editing services to companies of all sizes in the Greater Philadelphia area. I have also exhibited my original, fine art photography throughout the Northeast U.S.

A little bit about me: after earning my B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania, I completed a Web Development Degree from Montgomery County Community College. Currently, I utilize Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Fireworks, and Acrobat Pro to create custom logos, photographs, websites, brochures and other marketing materials, as well as paperless PDF forms for any business. When desgining websites, I prefer to code HTML and CSS by hand, but I utilize a WYSIWYG program such as DreamWeaver, when needed. I can build online databases using mySQL, and I am well-versed in Javascript and PHP. I enjoy collaborating with clients, and I take great care throughout the entire process to ensure that the client is happy.

As a photographer, I utilize fully digital images (shot with a Nikon D70), as well as 35mm negatives (Pentax K-1000). When working with film, I employ high-resolution negative scans to achieve dynamic results. My work has earned awards in numerous juried exhibitions statewide, and I have exhibited in a wide variety of art shows and festivals around the Northeast U.S. My photography is also carried by several Philadelphia-area hotels and gift shops, including the Encampment Store in Valley Forge National Park. Most recently, my work hung in the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg throughout the summer of 2008.
